what to know...
Time management.
plan your assignments accordingly and give yourself time to work and study ahead of time. Organization. knowing how to organize is key to success. it makes life more efficient, easier, and you won't lose paper. Read! the more you read, the better. just remember my story :) Take notes. write yourself reminder notes/messages on post-its or binder reminder. Find your work area. find a nice place where you can focus and not be distracted. you'll also be more motivated. |
what to do...① Listen and be attentive while we go over the HW in class
② Write down ALL your HW in your binder reminder as it is written on the board (even if you know it) ③ Check before you leave class that you have everything (workbooks, textbooks, etc.) ④ Make sure to ask ?s about any problems that you may have about the assignment/ ask for clarification. ⑤ Use the binder reminder when you get home to refer to correct pages or directions. * Be responsible and do not fall behind on assignments or studying. |
Friday Folders & Weekly Progress Reports
Friday Folders:
① Review all papers with your child each week.
② Students will make sure to return all TESTS SIGNED & CORRECTED on Monday.
③ Students will also make corrections to any quizzes or assignments that need correcting by Monday.
④ Please KEEP flyers, announcements, corrected papers, or anything that does not need to be returned.
⑤ Do NOT need to sign quizzes, but DO need to correct mistakes.
⑥ Making corrections to quizzes and tests are extremely beneficial. Please take the time to do so.

① The purpose of this report is to facilitate our school-home communication on a regular basis.
② Any missing or late assignments and sometimes projects will be listed in the folder.
